BIO

Based in London, Kia Fern Little is a half Chinese, half British cinematographer with a passion for creating work that evokes an emotional response. Her cinematography lies in humanistic storytelling and composing images from an honest and curious perspective. Working in both film and digital format, Kia keeps the characters and story at the centre, with her most recent work focussed on narratives that encourage and empower people of all backgrounds. The versatility in her work spans short drama, music videos, documentaries, fashion and television, having shot the first episode of BBC’s Such Brave Girls and 2nd Unit on TV shows such as Netflix’s Top Boy and BBC’s Mood. Her work has screened at BAFTA and Academy Award qualifying festivals worldwide. She recently finished shooting “The Final Countdown” for On The Edge with Channel4 and is currently shooting an NDA music documentary on a high profile British star.
